i should just call this my party blog

Considering it consists of nothing but updates on my nights out. But it's all I really have going on in my life right now so whatever!

I guess this week could've really started back last Wednesday, beginning with Misery Signals at Guelph. Needless to say they played an awesome set and there were fun times all around.

Thursday turned out to be far more eventful than I could've imagined. I got a call from my teacher Wednesday night asking if I wanted to go to Wonderland for free the next day, and of course I accepted. The only catch was I would have to sit in and sight read with the younger bands in Hannaford which wasn't too much of a problem because the music was not difficult really. Oh, that and I had to get myself to York Mills station by 9 am. That part sucked a bit, but I spent all last year busing my ass to U of T for 9 am rehearsals on Saturdays so I knew the drill. Little did I know I would be stuck sitting on the train at Kipling for an hour waiting for it to move, and saying screw it and taking the subway the rest of the way. Of course, the subway was down past St. George, so in order to get to the Yonge line I had to get out of the subway and run all the way down Bloor. I managed to get there eventually, and the day ruled etc etc, taking us to Friday.

Partied in Guelph at Pat's with Mark and some lovely ladies, sang some ridiculous kareoke, and moved onto Saturday. After waiting 2 hours for my bus to Kitchener, I managed to make it to my new place, catch a hangover nap, meet up with Chris and Damian, and prepare for the night. I finally got around to having my house warming party which was a success. Lots of people bailed but tonnes showed up, taped some 40s to their hands and got sloppy. Edward 40 hands never fails.

Sunday I headed back to Milton, and as soon as I made it back home I was headed right back to Guelph for some more partying. No shock here.

Monday morning we all woke up feeling good and ready to go, so what else was there to do besides go to the Science Center? Nothing. Obviously. We headed back to Milton, and a couple hours later we missioned it to Toronto with Mark, Mike squared and Sidra. Turned out to be an unreal day; wicked weather and not too many people. Smoked some weed, saw the Harry Potter exhibit (which was awesome, I totally recommend seeing it this summer), saw all our other favourite spots, and watched the Hubble imax movie. Afterwards we headed downtown to the Bistro for some beers before heading back to town. Needless to say it was the perfect day.

Which brings us to today. Woke up at 2 and hung around drinking smoothies, tanning and smoking a bowl with Keyah and Emma in the sun. Jealous yet?
Lovin this summer and hating not having a job less and less everyday.

picture time!
