friday!

What better way to spend your Friday evening than studying and blogging. Early morning rehearsals are going to be the death of me, although I did manage to survive a year of 9am rehearsals all the way in Toronto every Saturday morning. Things have changed though, this time I won't walk in an hour late still half drunk after sleeping in someone's hallway. Everyone's gotta grow up at some point. Anyway, I rediscovered my love for This Is Hell the other day so I'm gonna post two of their wicked albums which everyone should already be the proud owners of. I don't think I could ever get tired of Misfortunes and Sundowning in their entirety, so they are a must have.

Anyway, also went to see the Chamber concert last night, which ended up being worth the hour of boredom after watching the string quartet play Shostakovich's Quartet no. 8 Op. 110, in c minor. It basically sounds like the soundtrack to losing your mind. It's both eery and suspensful while being completely gorgeous, so I'm gonna post that for you as well (I'm sure it won't get listened to though). It's wicked though, pretty long but seriously worth it.

You really need to listen to the whole thing. That's it for now!
